Welcome to Boot Babes, a program committed to empowering women with the resources they need to embark on their next outdoor adventure. We believe that the beauty of the trail should be accessible to all, but for many, financial limitations can stand in the way. That’s where Boot Babes steps in.

Our program is dedicated to providing women with essential outdoor gear, giving them the confidence and support needed to embrace the trail, challenge themselves, and connect with nature. Boot Babes is a gear-matching initiative that pairs approved applicants with the equipment they need—at little to no cost. We carefully assess each applicant’s needs, taking into consideration their financial background, and strive to match them with high-quality gear that fits their journey.

Whether it’s a sturdy pair of hiking boots, a reliable backpack, or other essentials, Boot Babes is here to give every woman a boost toward her trailhead dreams. Join us in creating a more inclusive outdoor community where every step forward is met with support, connection, and the gear to go the distance.

How to Support

this Program.

Look for our donation bins at major WOTTHC events and Wild Women Program Workshops! 

Please ensure that all donations are suitable for hiking, camping, or backpacking and are free of stains and tears.

    Subject to availability, a WOTTHC Gear Library will allow members to check out high-ticket items for hiking, backpacking, and camping. 

    Tents, sleep systems, and other items that members can use on multi-day trips will be kept in the library.  Check this page for more updates!
